We understand that people have busy lives, and we welcome anyone who is willing to contribute their time and support, no matter how much time they can spare. We can accommodate any schedule. As a volunteer, you can assist the community in various ways, such as providing child care, emergency response, station landscaping, grant writing and much more. Whether you live nearby or far away, you can be a valuable part of our team!

Requirements

Different roles within the department will have differing requirements.  All we need to begin is a desire to join!

Training

We offer all our volunteers the training and support they need to succeed. The training provided will vary depending on your role. For traditional fire and EMS roles, training will be given before any response requirements. This may include:

  • Firefighting tactics and strategies
  •  Emergency medical response.
  •  Personal safety and protective equipment use.
